This is the Firestone Ride-Rite 2299 Rear Air Helper Spring Kit, designed for the 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 models (both 2WD and 4WD) for installation at the rear axle. It uses a pair of convoluted air springs mounted between the frame and suspension to help your truck stay level under load, improve ride quality, and enhance braking and steering when hauling or towing.
Manufactured with durable air bags, steel brackets, solid hardware, inflation valves and airline lines included. It is a no-drill system in many applications, using existing factory holes for mounting. The kit accommodates pressure from roughly 5 PSI up to a maximum of 100 PSI to adjust support to the load.
