This system features the 4-piston, S4 caliper mounted to a 13 inch, 2 piece slot, drill, zinc-plated rotor. T compliant dust and weather seals and uses the popular DR1-C pad type.
Rotors are pre-assembled with NAS high grade stainless hardware. Baer's unique backing plate not only acts as a caliper mount, but also houses a modern 1-piece park brake shoe assembly.
Stainless braided hoses and hardware are also included. The 13 inch SS4 Plus fits most 17 inch or larger wheels.
Note: Master cylinder upgrade is recommended 79-86 Cars - Use p/n 6800092 which includes a 15/16 inch bore master cylinder, 2 hard lines and fittings. This kit is a direct bolt on. 87-93 Cars - Use p/n 6800096 which includes a 15/16 inch bore master cylinder, 3 hard lines and fittings.This kit is a direct bolt on designed to convert cars with a factory 3-port master cylinder, to a 2-port. Because of the abundance of wheel companies and styles, it is impossible for Baer to guarantee fit of their brake systems into a specific wheel style and/or manufacturer.
